I was asked to do a repair on an old baby blanket and needed to copy the square so I have written the pattern out as well. I'm not sure who the original designer was but this is my take on this beautiful square.

The pattern is written in US terminology. It is quite a big square with the finished product measuring approximately 16cm x 16cm. You could use 8ply yarn and a 4mm hook for an even bigger size.
